Middle School Faith Formation
Youth in grades 6-8 gather on Wednesday evenings, Sept to April, from 7-8:30pm to pray, grow in their relationship with Christ, and
learn more about their Catholic faith. We begin each Wednesday with music and
prayer in church led by our senior high worship team. Youth then meet
in small groups until 8:30pm.
Activities during the year include the Fall NET Retreat, Pancake Breakfast, MEA Bonfire,
Operation Christmas Child, Parent's Night Out, Advent Brunch, Christmas Caroling, Easter Baskets for
Keystone, Easter Egg Dyeing, End of Year Mass and Ice Cream Social.

Parents Night Out Planning Party - Nov 11, 2017
Youth grades 6-12 are invited to join us in planning Parents' Night Out. We will eat pizza, bake cookies, and do other prep work for the event. We will end the night with games! If you are unable to come to the planning party, you are still welcome to help at Parents' Night Out on Dec 2. Adult volunteers also needed for both nights! Sign up in the Gathering Area or e-mail Liz.
Give and Grin Summer Service Program
Youth entering Grade 6-12 gather for six Wednesdays in June, July, and August to share their time and talents with others. We serve at a wide range of locations in the community in the morning, gather at lunchtime for reflection and bible study, and then have a social activity in the afternoon. Youth focus on learning about Catholic Social Teaching and using the talents God has given to make a difference in the lives of others.
We love fun adults who have a desire to share their faith with our youth. If you are interested in volunteering with Corpus Christi youth, please contact Liz Russell at email@example.com.
All volunteers must be background checked and have completed VIRTUS training as required by the Archdiocese. A Code of Conduct form must be completed each year. Adult volunteers that are driving must also fill out a driver form.
Liz Russell has been a Corpus Christi parishioner since 2005. She volunteered as a catechist for 5 years before landing in youth ministry in 2011.
