Liturgical Ministry Opportunities

Liturgy Commission
Vision, coordinate and evaluate the worship at Corpus Christi. Meets first Thursday evening, September through May.
Mass Coordinators (Sacristans)
Assist Pastor and parishioners at weekend liturgies one or more times a month. Open to individuals or families.
Funeral Mass Coordinator
Assist at funeral liturgies as available.
Usher
Greet people, hand out hymnals/worship programs, help with seating, take up collection, provide general assistance before and after the liturgy.
Lector
Proclaim the Scripture. Training provided. Lectors must be in 8th grade or older.
Parish Choir
Sing 2-3 times each month and for special occasions. Open to high school age and older. Rehearsal – Tuesday evenings, September through May.
All Ages Choir
Sing as available at Saturday liturgy. Rehearsal same day as liturgy. Open to all youth and parents
Cantor
Lead the assembly’s worship. Must read music.
Instrumentalist
Experienced instrumentalists play instruments during liturgies on regular or occasional basis.
Eucharistic Minister
Distribute the Eucharist at liturgy. Training provided. Candidates are 16 years or older and have been confirmed.
Hospitality
Serve refreshments once a month after Sunday liturgy or for special occasions.
Liturgical Dance
Participate in seasonal sacred dance. Open to youth and adults.
Environment
Help design and/or decorate for liturgical seasons and feasts.
Church Plant Caretakers
Water and care for inside plants and flowers on a scheduled basis.
