Youth grades 6-8 are invited to participate in our Junior High Faith Formation and youth ministry programs, including our summer service program “Give and Grin”.
Faith Formation Program
Our program meets on Wednesday evenings, September to May, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. We begin in church for opening prayer led by the senior high worship team. Small groups meet by age group until 8:30. Parents are invited to come to one class each year and share an experience of how their faith relates to their everyday life. We begin each year with a twilight retreat led by the National Evangelization Team. Social Justice and service projects are integrated into the curriculum, and include Operation Christmas Child, a visit to a homeless shelter or supportive housing with collection for personal care items, Parents Night Out, Christmas caroling at a nursing home, Soup R Bowl collection for food shelf, Interfaith Day of Service, Easter basket assembly for food shelf, water project for Africa, and ongoing collection for Feed My Starving Children. Social Events are also planned to help develop community amongst the youth. Youth attending Catholic Schools are invited to participate in all of the programs.

Summer fun afternoon activities may include bowling, swimming at a water park, mini-golf, go-carts, disc golf, scavenger hunt, or a day at the beach.
Parent/Guardian must volunteer one full day to drive and chaperone. They must also complete a background check and Virtus Training. See registration form for more details.
