Ministry to Families with Young Children
Parents are indeed the primary educators of their children. We seek to aid parents in this task by providing parents of young children the opportunity to network with other young parents, as well as by providing them with the education and support they need to carry out the promises they make at their child’s baptism.
Periodically we offer the Early Catholic Family Life Program. Patterned after the highly successful Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) program in the public schools, ECFL is an Archdiocesan program designed to assist parents with children from birth to age five with the tools they need to teach their children the Catholic Faith. The classes include a parent-child component, parent discussion time and a children’s time. Watch the bulletin for dates, or contact the parish office.
