It's hard to believe that it's already August! With the school year quickly approaching, it's time for us to start to think about enrolling our children in Faith Formation programs! Here is a quick outline of what Corpus Christi has to offer for the children:
Early Catholic Family Life (ECFL) - This is a program for children (birth to age 5) and their parents. The program is held on Saturday mornings (Oct. 31, Nov. 7, 14, 21) and is modled after the ECFE program in the public schools. ECFL includes parent-child interaction time as well as seperate children activities and adult discussion. More information will be mailed to parents with children in this age bracket, check out the Sunday Bulletin in October for more information, or call Alisa at the Parish Center.
Sunday Nursery - When Sunday School is in session, there is a Sunday Nursery available during the 10:30 am Mass on Sunday mornings. Children from birth to age 4 are welcomed to join us to engage in Christian play during Mass. Parent Volunteers are still needed. Please call Amanda at the Parish Center for more details or to sign-up to volunteer.
Sunday School - Sunday School is held on Sunday mornings during the school year. Children start class at 10 am and process into Mass at 11 am to join their parents for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Parents with children in grades Preschool through grade 5 are invited to sign up their children. For more information, please call Amanda at the Parish Center.
Wednesday Nights - Faith Formation program for Grades 6-8 and Confirmation (Grade 9) are held on Wednesday evenings during the school year. Program starts at 7 pm in the church with Opening Prayer time, before children go to their classrooms. Program ends at 8:30 pm. For more information, please call Alisa at the Parish Center.
iNights - iNights are designed for youth who have completed Confirmation to continue their Faith Formation. For more information in iNights and other programs designed for grades 10-12, please visit http://web.mac.com/zachrawson for more information.
