Adult Faith Formation
Education is an important part of our parish activities. Adult Faith Formation sessions are designed to promote formation, development and sharing of faith. There are several opportunities throughout the year to help parishioners learn about and strengthen their faith. Some sessions are held in conjunction with St. Rose of Lima.
Adult Faith Formation Committee – Participate in development and implementation of Adult Faith Formation programs in the parish. If interested in joining this committee, please contact us.
Bible Study
Tuesday – Parish Center – 10:00 am – This group focuses on different books of the bible. All are welcomed to join.
Wednesday – Parish Center – 8:30 am - Study Sunday readings with Fr. Frank.
Centering Prayer - Centering Prayer is a method of prayer which prepares us to receive the gift of God’s presence. It consists of responding to the Spirit of Christ by consenting to God’s presence and action within. It emphasizes prayer as a personal relationship with God and it is also a discipline to foster and serve this relationship by a regular, daily practice of prayer. Centering Prayer group meets at 3:00 pm on Wednesdays in the Chapel located in the Parish Center.
Prayer Group – Prayer Group comes together on Mondays at 7:00 pm in the Parish Center Chapel to pray everything from the Rosary to personal and reflective prayers.
Multi-Cultural Faith Festival – Come learn about how our Faith is celebrated around the world. This is a multi-generational event. Faith Festival usually takes place in January. See the Parish Calendar for more details.
Scripture Series – Every year, in conjunction with St. Rose of Lima, we offer a Scripture Lecture Series hosted by a Biblical Scholar. The past couple of year, Dr. Catherine Cory from the University of St. Thomas has led our series, teaching about everything from the Letter of Paul to the Book of Revelation.
